Jasper Blom is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy-making, academia, and financial regulation. Currently serving as a Senior Policy Officer for Greening the Financial Sector at Milieudefensie since February 2023, Jasper holds previous research and teaching roles at esteemed institutions including The University of Sheffield and the University of Amsterdam. Jasper has also contributed to the development of financial policy as a former Policy Advisor at the European Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance. With a strong foundation in Political Economy and International Relations, Jasper obtained a PhD in Political Economy from the University of Amsterdam, complemented by MA degrees in International Relations and Financial Economics.
