Curtis Baumunk has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Curtis began their career in the US Navy as a Nuclear Electricians Mate from November 2004 to November 2008. Curtis then worked as a Wind Turbine Technician at GE from October 2009 to December 2010. Curtis further developed their technical skills by working as a Motor Reliability Specialist at Siemens Industry from December 2011 to December 2012. In 2015, they gained experience as a Petroleum Engineer Intern at Chevron for three months. Curtis then interned as a Drilling Engineer at ExxonMobil for three months in 2016. Curtis joined ExxonMobil as an Operations Engineer in June 2017 and held this role until November 2021. Curtis then worked as a Reliability Engineer at Florida Power & Light Company from November 2021 to September 2022. Curtis's most recent role was as a Production Engineer at Repsol from September 2022 to April 2023. Currently, they are employed as a Production Engineer at Verdun Oil Company, starting in April 2023. Throughout their various positions, Curtis has gained significant expertise in engineering, reliability, and production within the oil and energy industry.
From 2013 to 2017, Curtis Baumunk attended Penn State University, where they pursued a degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering.
