Martin Vetter is the CEO of Verdex Capital, a venture capital firm focused on advancing Canadian agriculture through investments in the food and agricultural sectors. Since 2008, Martin has overseen the full investment lifecycle at Verdex Capital. As a Founding Partner of Carrot Ventures, Martin actively creates and finances companies that commercialize agricultural technologies. Martin is also the Board Chair of Cellar Insights and Susterre, both AgTech startups developed under Carrot Ventures, and holds board observer roles at several technology and service companies, including Wedge Networks Inc., samdesk, and BlackSquare Inc. Martin's educational background includes an MBA from the University of Calgary and engineering studies from Memorial University, complemented by various governance and risk management certifications.
