Carlos Puigjaner is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and business management. Since June 2009, Carlos has served as the CEO and Co-owner of Verbio, a company focused on revolutionizing user-machine conversational interfaces through advanced speech recognition and machine learning technology. In addition, Carlos has been a member of the board of directors at Trace Ventures since June 2008, where the focus is on investing in high-growth potential companies. Carlos co-founded dooplan.com and elgrupazo.com, an ecommerce venture specializing in daily deals, from September 2007 to June 2013. Previous roles include Chief Operating Officer at NexTReT from May 2002 to September 2007, Project Manager at Fura Consultores from January 1999 to May 2002, and Consultant at Boldo, Esteban y Asociados, S.A. from May 1997 to January 1999. Carlos holds a Master's in Marketing from Instituto Superior de Marketing, an Engineer's Degree in Computer Science from the Polytecnical University of Catalonia, and has completed a course in Project Management at IESE Business School.
