Mike Reust is a seasoned technology executive with an extensive background in engineering and leadership roles, currently serving as President at Betterment since 2013. Mike has held various titles at Betterment, including VP, CTO, and GM, along with Director of Engineering. In addition to this position, Mike is an investor in multiple companies such as Verbate, Companion, Firefly, and Spruce. Mike has also been a public speaker, delivering keynotes and participating in panels at renowned events and institutions worldwide. Prior experience includes advisory roles at smileML and engineering positions at Group Commerce, ZocDoc, and Quantitative Risk Management. Mike holds a BS in Software Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
