Ruben Chevez-Guardado is a highly skilled software developer and data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning infrastructure and software development. Currently serving as Team Lead at Verafin since October 2020, Ruben has previously held roles as a data scientist, software developer, and research intern at the same company. Prior professional experience includes recruitment coordination for the Atlantic Canada Study and Stay NL initiative at Memorial University of Newfoundland, laboratory instruction in computer architecture, and regional software engineering at Grupo Monge. As a co-founder and CPO of Internet of Trees and CEO of LetMeListen, Ruben has demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit focused on social causes. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science from Memorial University, a summer course in Machine Learning and Big Data Analysis from National Tsing Hua University, and degrees in Computer Systems Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana.
