Chris Moran, PMP, P.Geo (non-practising), is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in both project management and geology. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Verafin since June 2021, Chris manages a variety of significant projects, including core conversion and mergers, successfully completing over 90 projects for financial institutions with asset values ranging from less than 100 million to over 100 billion. Previously, Chris held project management roles at the College of the North Atlantic and as a self-employed contract geologist/project manager. With a foundational background in geology and core storage management from roles at the NL Department of Natural Resources and other mining companies, Chris possesses a comprehensive skill set underscored by a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from York University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Earth Sciences and Geography from Memorial University.
