William Reeves has a diverse range of work experience. William is currently the Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at VeracityID, Inc., where they lead external strategic initiatives for the company's big data anti-fraud solutions. In this role, they focus on helping insurers, banks, and sharing economy companies manage consumer and small business customer risk by identifying application and professional fraud in real-time.
Prior to their current position, Reeves worked as a partner at Openwater Advisors LLC, a mid-market investment banking and strategy boutique. At Openwater Advisors, they specialized in assisting knowledge-based businesses with growth, distribution, and value creation. Reeves leveraged their global network of ex-consulting partners to connect these businesses with global enterprises, private equity firms, and venture capitalists.
Reeves also has experience as the Head of Strategic and Business Development at Eckerd Health Services, a $5 billion pharmacy benefit manager (PBM). In this role, they reported directly to the CEO and played a key part in restructuring the company to maximize shareholder value. William implemented new products and pricing strategies and transformed redundant distribution assets into a path-breaking business process outsourcing (BPO) service for Aetna Health.
Before Eckerd Health Services, Reeves was the President and COO of Financialsettlementmatrix, a startup dedicated to streamlining financial settlement between enterprises. William worked with companies such as i2, Citibank, Enron, Wells Fargo, and s2 to design a platform that would allow large enterprises to easily integrate their accounts receivable and payment platforms with small suppliers.
Reeves' earlier experience includes their time as a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting, where they focused on business strategy, large-scale business transformation, and e-business. William led the Midwest Region Products Strategy practice during their tenure at the firm.
William Reeves received their high school education from Jakarta Intercultural School from 1973 to 1977. William then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Organizational Behavior from The University of Tulsa from 1979 to 1983. Following this, they attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 1983 to 1985 and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance and Marketing.
