Shiang Yang has work experience in two companies. Shiang started as a Data Analyst at Veolia in January 2022 and worked there until November 2023. Then, Shiang Yang became an Analytics Lead at the same company from November 2023 onwards. In 2021, Shiang Yang worked as an External Technology Consultant at Baxi Heating from June to September. In this role, they analyzed the company's current position in Industry 4.0 and developed a roadmap for the next 5 years from both technological and business perspectives.

Shiang Yang has a Master's degree in Management of Information Systems and Digital Innovation from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, which was earned between 2020 and 2021. Prior to that, Shiang Yang was an exchange student at the University of Oslo in 2019 to 2020, where they studied Data Science in Economics. They also hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Finance from National Chengchi University, which they completed from 2016 to 2020. Additionally, Shiang Yang has obtained certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate from Microsoft in 2023, and completed the SQL Essential Training course from LinkedIn in 2021. They also participated in the Shopee Code League 2021 and the Virtual Experience Program from Forage in 2021.
