Brian Curtis is a seasoned professional in the field of automation, currently serving as the Society President of the International Society of Automation (ISA) since 2018 and has been with the organization since January 2013. With extensive experience in leadership roles, including President Elect - Secretary and Executive Board Member, Brian has significantly contributed to the development of standards and professional development for over 30,000 global automation professionals. Brian concurrently holds positions as REFS Contract Manager at Novartis and Operations Manager at Veolia Energy. Prior roles include Automation Consultant at GE Healthcare, Business Development Manager at PACIV Europe, and Senior Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Engineer at DPS Engineering and Construction. Brian's background also includes experience as an Automation Project Manager at Eli Lilly, Engineering Manager at Fluor Daniel, and roles in engineering with Jacobs Engineering and Irish Fertilisers Industries, spanning several decades in the industry. Brian Curtis is a graduate of Munster Technological University.
