Bárbara Ayala Rodríguez has various work experiences in different roles and industries. Bárbara started their career at Sensata Technologies as a Process Improvements Leader from September 2005 to August 2006. Bárbara then joined Softtek as a Process Leader & Relationship Manager from November 2006 to December 2008, and later as a Business Analyst from January 2009 to February 2014, focusing on the retail business, specifically Wal-mart.

In 2014, Bárbara worked as a Mathematics & Information Technology Professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey, teaching mathematics at ITESM and information technology at UTR University.

From April to September 2015, they worked at Gensuite as a Sr. Business Analyst. Following that, they joined Softtek México as a Sr. Business Analyst from September 2015 to March 2019.
