Lead Account Strategist at Venveo

Kevin Cowan has worked in various roles in the marketing industry since 2011. In 2021, they began working as Lead Account Strategist and Account Strategist at Venveo. From 2019 to 2021, they were the Director of Marketing and E-Commerce at Delaney Liquors, where they managed $2M eCommerce websites and led the pivot towards local delivery and in-store pickup during the COVID-19 pandemic. Kevin also created a digital growth marketing strategy for eCommerce and local advertising, and built social media profiles and content strategy for 6 accounts. From 2013 to 2019, Kevin was the Digital Marketing Director, Event Director, and E-Commerce Director at Pure Marketing, Inc., where they were the Lead Event Director of the Inaugural West Hartford Wine & Food Festival and five annual WeHa Whiskey Festivals. In 2013, Kevin founded Black Lab Consulting, where they created professional level online marketing campaigns with the personal care and attention that small businesses deserve. Kevin also worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Florian Properties, where they created and managed social media pages for collegiate and commercial real estate, developed and managed marketing and created materials in the form of flyers, newsletters, pictures and property video tours, and updated CMR databases, generated leads, and communicated with prospective tenants to meet them for showings. Prior to 2013, Kevin was an Account Manager at Review Tree, a Market Research Analyst at Marketing on Demand, a Study Abroad Peer Leadership Mentor and Social Media Specialist at the University of Connecticut, and a Business Team and Marketing Intern at Global Action Plan.

Kevin Cowan obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology and Communications from the University of Connecticut between 2008 and 2012. Kevin also has certifications in Google AdWords and HubSpot Inbound Marketing.
