Emily Barker has worked in various roles since 2012. Emily began their career as a Sales Associate at Metropolis Country Club Tennis Shop. Emily then worked as a Blog Editor for the Fashion Merchandising and Design Society. In 2013, they were an Intern at BPCM, and in 2014, they worked as an Assistant Account Executive and Account Supervisor at LRG Marketing Communications Inc. and Social Media/PR Intern at Angel's POV. In 2012, they were the Director of Membership and Recruitment- Sigma Lambda at Chi Omega Fraternity. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as Marketing Director at RidgeView Dermatology, where they generated successful strategies for marketing activities, produced a quarterly marketing campaign resulting in a 95% increase in Coolsculpting® sales, and manufactured and managed an online campaign for local Lynchburg Living “Best of” awards. Currently, Emily Barker is a Project Manager at Venveo.

Emily Barker obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelors of Science (B.S) from Virginia Tech between 2010 and 2014 in Communications, and Apparel Product Development and Merchandising Management. In 2019, they obtained Inboud Marketing Certified and Inbound Certified certifications from HubSpot Academy. In 2020, they obtained a Google Ads Search Certification from Google.
