Craig Western

Craig Western is an experienced mechanical engineer and researcher who has worked for various well-known organizations. Craig worked as a Structures and Mechanisms Lead and Senior Mechanical Engineer at Venturi Astrolab, Inc. and as an Independent Engineering Consultant. Prior to this, they were a Lead Engineer for Project Heaviside and a Mechanical Engineer at Kitty Hawk. Craig started their career as a Robotic Hardware Systems Intern at JPL and also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at National Taiwan University Precisions Systems Control Lab, Stanford Aerospace Robotics Laboratory, and Stanford Bio-Robotics Laboratory. Their experience includes working in the spaceships, robotics, and control systems domains.

Craig Western received their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 2011. Craig then went on to earn their Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University in 2014.
