Preston Kent is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in the energy and automation sectors. Currently serving as Principal Electrical Engineer at Venture Global LNG since March 2023, Preston previously held positions at Powell from July 2006 to December 2022, where roles included Operations Manager and Engineering Manager. Notable achievements include leading the ISO9001:2015 certification process for Operations and Engineering, commissioning a generation station in Canada, and managing a team specializing in control systems automation. Earlier career experience includes work as an Electrical Engineer at Cardinal Glass Industries, where responsibilities involved maintaining and troubleshooting PLC controls. Preston earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Texas A&M University between 1998 and 2004.
