James Forsythe currently serves as a Board Member for Community Action of Ventura County and as a Board Trustee for Ventura Unified School District, representing Area 1. James chairs the Declining Enrollment Committee for Oxnard School District and has a background as a Special Education Teacher in both Oxnard School District and VENTURA CHARTER SCHOOL. Previously, James Forsythe contributed to the California Democratic Party as a DSCC Member and as a Delegate for the 37th Assembly District. James's educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching, an Education Specialist Credential, and a Bachelor of Education from California Lutheran University and University of La Verne, respectively, alongside an Associate of Arts degree from Santa Barbara City College.
