Dan Bensimhon

Dan Bensimhon has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Dan began their career in 2005 as the Medical Director of the Advanced Heart Failure & Mechanical Circulatory Support Program at Cone Health. In 2007, they founded Moonlighting Solutions, LLC & MLS TeleHealth, LLC, where they served as the Founder & CEO. In 2009, they also became a Board Member of the LeBauer-Brodie Cardiovascular Research Foundation.

Throughout their career, Bensimhon has taken on various consulting roles. Dan served as a Consultant for Sensible Medical Innovations Ltd. in 2017 and for scPharmaceuticals in 2018. In 2019, they became a Clinical Advisor for InnaMed, a startup focused on enhancing the patient experience with at-home blood testing technology and cloud-based health analytics. Bensimhon also invested in InnaMed as an early investor.

In 2020, Bensimhon joined WellSky as the Medical Director, a role they held until April 2023. Dan also co-founded Ventricle Health in 2021, where they serve as the Chief Medical Officer. Additionally, in 2022, they became the Medical Director of Caption Health.

Dan Bensimhon completed their Bachelor's Degree in American Literature from Duke University in the period of 1985 to 1989. Dan then pursued further education at Duke University Medical Center, where they completed an Internal Medicine residency and a Cardiology fellowship. In 1994, they enrolled at UPMC, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in the span of 1994 to 1998.
