April Ciganik has a diverse work experience in the medical and diagnostics industry. April started their career at Dako in 1997 as an Account Executive, where they worked until 2002. In 2003, they joined Ventana Medical Systems as a Director of Sales-Major Accounts. April then moved to Roche in 2013 as a Director of Sales-East and later became the National Segment Director-Corporate Accounts. April also held the role of Senior Director, Sales for a short period in 2017. In 2020, they were promoted to Vice President of Sales, Tissue Diagnostics at Roche Diagnostics.

April Ciganik obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh from 1994 to 1996.
