Jann Eichlersmith is a seasoned legal and consulting professional with extensive experience in nonprofit organizations and social enterprises. Currently serving as the Director of the Social Enterprise Division and General Counsel at Venn Foundation since August 2019, Jann focuses on advancing charitable impact through Program-Related Investments (PRIs). Prior experience includes founding JME Law, where counsel was provided to nonprofits and social enterprises, and serving as Senior Associate General Counsel at The Scoular Company, managing legal risks in business strategies. Jann has also held various leadership roles in nonprofit governance, including positions on boards and committees for organizations such as the Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota and Gustavus Adolphus College. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Minnesota Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Accounting from Gustavus Adolphus College.
