Nathan J. began their work experience as an Information Technology Support Specialist at Appalachian State University in August 2018 before transitioning to an Internal Developer Intern role at ECRS (ECR Software Corporation) in September 2020. In January 2021, they joined General Motors as a Software Developer for a six-month period. From June 2021 to January 2023, Nathan worked as an Associate Software Developer at SCI Fusion360, where they focused on iOS application development and worked as a contractor for IBM's FTM. Currently, Nathan holds a position as a Software Engineer 2 at Venminder since January 2023.

Nathan J. has a diverse education history. From 2014 to 2017, they attended Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute, where they earned an Associate's degree in General Education. Nathan then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Appalachian State University, graduating in 2020. During their time at Appalachian State University, Nathan also had a brief period (2019-2020) where they studied Telecommunications at the INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon.
