Leon van Leersum FRICS has a wealth of experience in the real estate industry. Leon currently works as a Partner at Redept, where they advise companies and organizations on their corporate real estate needs. Prior to this, Leon founded VendrNL, a company that automates the sales process of commercial real estate and helps brokers streamline their transactions.

Leon also served as the Director of Real Estate at Royal Philips Electronics, where they provided strategic real estate services to the corporation. Their responsibilities included sourcing and contract management of global real estate services, supervising real estate transactions, and property development across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Before joining Royal Philips Electronics, Leon worked at Jones Lang LaSalle as an Associate Director in the Corporate Solutions department. Leon supported international clients with their office and warehouse needs in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Leon also worked as an Agent in Commercial Real Estate for the company.

Leon's earlier experiences include roles as a Leasing Agent at Palladium Group G.E.I.E. and Van Westrhenen Bedrijfshuisvesting. Leon was also a co-creator at RealNext.

Leon van Leersum FRICS completed their Bachelor's degree in Management Economie en Recht/Vastgoed en Makelaardij from Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen from 1991 to 1996. Leon then pursued further education at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate from 2000 to 2001, focusing on Real Estate. Prior to their tertiary education, Leon attended RSG Gouda from 1986 to 1991. Leon has also obtained the Chartered Surveyor certification from RICS, although the specific month and year of certification are not provided.
