Henrik Schou HD(O) has extensive experience in procurement and strategic sourcing, currently serving as a Senior Strategic Buyer at VELUX since August 2015, where involvement includes strong stakeholder relationships and expert negotiation. Previous roles at VELUX include Interim Senior Procurement Manager for the Commercial Division, responsible for a team of Strategic Buyers, and Senior Category Manager overseeing metal parts sourcing globally. Prior to VELUX, Henrik worked at Siemens Wind Power in various capacities, culminating as a Senior Buyer in the bearings commodity, and held leadership roles in supplier development and procurement engineering. Henrik's career began at Profil Værktøj A/S as Purchase Manager, after which experiences also included positions at BDO ScanRevision A/S and military service. Academic qualifications include an HD(O) from Aarhus Universitet and a degree from Herning Handelsskole.
