Michail Nikolaou has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Michail began their career at Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation in 2005 as a Sales representative. Michail then moved on to DEPODATH S.A. in 2009 as a Senior Accountant before joining National Bank of Greece in 2010 as an SME Banking Advisor, where they worked for almost 9 years. In 2016, Michail became a Financial Advisor at Mentory - Σύμβουλοι Επιχειρηματιών and continued in this role until 2020. In that same year, they joined Velti as a Revenue Optimization Manager. Additionally, Michail worked as a Financial Advisor at Ναυτικά Χρονικά - Naftika Chronika from 2016 to 2021.

Michail Nikolaou received their Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Piraeus, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. Michail then pursued a Master's degree in Cultural Institutions' Economics from Università degli studi Roma TRE, completing the program from 2007 to 2008. Finally, they obtained another Master's degree in Banking and Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business, studying from 2012 to 2014.
