Dimitris Chorianopoulos

Dimitris Chorianopoulos has a diverse work experience in sales, business development, and management roles. Dimitris started their career in 1998 as a Major Accounts Advertising Consultant at Bell Atlantic Information Services Hellas S.A., where they pitched Yellow Pages advertising services to major accounts. Dimitris then became a Sales Supervisor and later a Division Sales Manager, overseeing sales teams and support personnel.

In 2001, Chorianopoulos joined Cosmote e-Value as the Commercial Director and Acting General Manager. Dimitris was responsible for designing and executing the sales strategy for the contact center company. Dimitris also hired, trained, and managed a sales team and handled major accounts.

From 2002 to 2004, Chorianopoulos worked at Publicis as a CRM Director. Dimitris managed CRM programs for existing clients, prepared CRM strategy proposals, and worked with delivery teams and outsourced partners.

In 2004, Chorianopoulos founded two companies: Commusication and Customized Digital Applications. Commusication, where they served as the Owner, specialized in mobile marketing. Customized Digital Applications developed self-service kiosk solutions for various industries.

Chorianopoulos joined Going Up S.A. in 2008 as the Business Development Director. Dimitris focused on mobile marketing and worked with operators in the MENA region and Central Europe.

In 2010, Chorianopoulos joined Velti as the Sales & Business Development Director for the CEE/CIS region, later expanding their role to the Southern Africa region and then to the MENA region. Dimitris was responsible for managing sales teams, developing new solutions and services, and driving revenue for mobile marketing and loyalty solutions.

In their most recent role at Velti, Chorianopoulos served as the Executive Vice President of Sales. Dimitris oversaw sales and business development for the MENA and CEE/SEE/CIS regions. Dimitris managed sales teams, designed and executed sales strategies, and actively contributed to the overall commercial strategy.

Throughout their career, Dimitris Chorianopoulos has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and expertise in sales and business development in the mobile marketing and contact center industries.

Dimitris Chorianopoulos completed their Bachelor's Degree in Law from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, from 1985 to 1991. Later on, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from EEDE (Hellenic Management Association), which they completed from 2004 to 2006.
