Michael Hultner serves as SVP of Corporate Development at Velsera, where the organization focuses on connecting healthcare and life sciences to advance precision medicine. Previously, Michael held prominent roles at UnitedHealth Group and Optum, including VP & General Manager and VP & Head of Genomics Strategy, respectively. As SVP of Strategy and GM of US Operations at PetaGene, Michael was responsible for strategic direction and product development in genomic data processing technology. Earlier experience includes leading national scale genomics projects at Seven Bridges and holding the title of Chief Scientist at Leidos and Lockheed Martin, where Michael contributed to advancements in health and life sciences. Michael earned a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of California, San Francisco, and a BS in Molecular Biology from UC San Diego.
