Apoorva Kulkarni is an experienced professional in the field of biotechnology, currently serving as an Associate Product Operations Manager and Scientific Lead at Velsera since December 2018. With a strong background in quality control and assurance, Apoorva has optimized processes and mentored team members to enhance operational efficiency. Previously, as a Senior Biocurator and Biocurator, Apoorva focused on analyzing and curating cancer-related scientific content from various sources, ensuring alignment with major cancer guidelines. Prior experience includes developing molecular biology assays as a Genomic Scientist at Megavision Lifesciences and conducting research as a Wellcome Trust Junior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune, where mentorship of students was part of the role. Apoorva holds a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Pune University.
