Scott Breitenother has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. In 2009, they started their career as a Consulting Intern at Siemens Management Consulting. Scott then joined L.E.K. Consulting as a Consultant in 2010 and stayed there until 2014. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Casper as the VP of Data & Analytics. In 2018, Scott co-founded LocallyOptimistic, a blog and slack community for data leaders. In the same year, they also founded Brooklyn Data Co., which later became a Velir company. In 2023, they joined Velir as the Chief Data Officer.
Scott Breitenother attended McDonogh School from 1992 to 2004. Scott then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a focus on Global Business Management and Entrepreneurship at Babson College from 2004 to 2008. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in International Management at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2008 to 2009.
