Fairul Haizad is a seasoned Senior Project Engineer at Velesto Energy Berhad, with a tenure beginning in March 2017. Responsibilities include assisting in rig certifications, regulatory compliance, and preparing project scopes for maintenance and upgrades. Prior roles within Velesto Energy include Rig Operations Engineer, where monitoring rig operations and maintaining certifications were key tasks, and Trainee Assistant Driller, focusing on training and compliance in drilling operations. Before Velesto, Fairul served as a Technical Engineer at UMW Oil & Gas Corporation Berhad, contributing to operational support and preventive maintenance systems. Fairul began professional education with an Industrial Trainee position at PETRONAS and holds a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Refining System Engineering from the University of Surrey.
