Melissa Hale, SHRM-CP, is an experienced Human Resources professional currently serving as a Human Resources Business Partner at Vermont Electric Power Company (VELCO) since June 2020. Prior to this role, Melissa worked at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center for over eleven years, holding positions including Benefits Coordinator, Employment Specialist, IT Secretary, Switchboard Supervisor, Development Secretary, and Switchboard Operator. Melissa has experience managing employee benefits, recruitment, and onboarding processes. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Literature from Castleton University and a Certificate in Medical Transcription from Northeast Technical Institute. Currently, Melissa is pursuing a Master's degree in Human Resources Development at Champlain College.
