Lance Zhao currently works at Velar Technologies since May 2021 as a Defi. Prior to this, Lance worked at a Quantitative Trading Firm as a Quantitative Researcher specializing in Futures HFT from April 2017 to November 2020. Before that, Lance was a Trader at IMC financial markets & asset management from August 2012 to April 2016, focusing on low latency derivatives market making in futures, options, and ETF's. Lance also had a brief stint as a Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs Investment Partners in June 2011. Lance is a Stanford University graduate with a BS in Management Science and Engineering and Computer Science.
