Matt Shandy is an Associate Attorney at Vela Wood, providing legal counsel to emerging companies and investors. Prior to this role, Matt was a Principal at Dundee Venture Capital, where Matt managed legal counsel, sourced investments, and participated on portfolio company boards. Matt also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, teaching a course on startups and venture capital. Matt's experience also includes roles at Lewis & Clark Ventures, Cooley LLP, and White & Case LLP, where Matt worked on various corporate transactions. Matt holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Oklahoma.
