Bronté Story is an accomplished attorney currently working at Vela Wood since November 2021, following a role as a Contract Attorney for Workforce Logiq at Toyota Headquarters from March to November 2021. Prior experience includes a position at Maddrey PLLC, where Bronté served as a Continued Summer Associate and Legal Intern from June 2019 to March 2021. During studies at SMU Dedman School of Law from August 2017 to May 2020, Bronté held positions including Student Attorney at the W.W. Caruth, Jr. Child Advocacy Clinic, Staff Editor and Notes Editor at the SMU Science and Technology Law Review, and Legal Summer Intern at the Human Rights Initiative of North Texas Inc. Bronté also interned at CHILDREN AT RISK, focusing on human trafficking policy, and served as a Research Assistant for a professor in Entertainment Law. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Arkansas.
