Karsten Kirk Larsen has extensive experience working in various government ministries. Karsten Kirk started their career at Kirkeministeriet, where they served as the Head of Sektion from an unknown start date to 2005. Karsten Kirk then became a Private Secretary to the Minister until 2007.
In 2008, they joined Transportministeriet as a Private Secretary to the Minister. After a year, they transitioned to the Ministry of Transport, where they worked as an Advisor from 2009 to 2013.
In 2013, Larsen returned to Transportministeriet, taking on the role of Chefkonsulent from October 2013 to July 2014. In November 2013, they also became the Kst. Kontorchef of the Center for Veje og Broer, which they held until February 2014.
Their most recent position is at Vejdirektoratet, where they are currently the Head of Department since July 2014.
Karsten Kirk Larsen pursued their education at the prestigious Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from 1995 to 2001, where they completed their Master's degree in Law. In 2000, they briefly attended the University of Amsterdam, studying law and earning a degree known as Cand.jur.
