Raphael Caropreso is an established legal professional with extensive experience in tax law. Currently serving as a Member of the Special Commission on Tax Law at OAB SP since May 2023, Raphael has been a Partner at Veirano Advogados since December 2005, where litigation of complex tax issues and the development of legal strategies for risk minimization are key responsibilities. Previously, Raphael interned at Lacaz Martins, Pereira Neto, Gurevich & Schoueri Advogados from March to November 2005. Raphael holds two Master of Laws (LL.M.) degrees in Tax Law/Taxation, obtained from Georgetown University Law Center (2015-2016) and Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa (2012-2014), as well as a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (2005-2010).
