Roberto Scognamiglio is an experienced professional with a background in category management, project buying, and engineering. Currently serving as Category Manager EMEA at VSG, a Dover Company since May 2021, Roberto defines strategies for assigned categories, manages supplier relations, and monitors market trends. Previously, at Datalogic from September 2018 to May 2021, Roberto led R&D sourcing activities and negotiated supplier agreements. During a tenure at Magneti Marelli from September 2013 to August 2018, Roberto worked as a Project Buyer for hybrid electric vehicles, managing product development and sourcing strategies. Earlier career roles included Process Engineer at Bosch Rexroth and Manufacturing Engineer at Corghi SpA. Roberto holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, completed in 2010.
