Kevin Williams has extensive experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on sales, account management, and engineering. Kevin has held various roles at different companies throughout their career.
Kevin started their career at Cummins Engine Co as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where they completed the US Department of Labor apprenticeship program for drafting.
Afterwards, they worked at Case Construction Equipment as a Mechanical Engineer, specializing in track type tractor drive systems and hydraulic systems for skid steers.
Kevin then joined John Deere as a Data Administrator and Design Engineer, where they administered Parametric Technologies PDM software for CAD data management and also worked on engine design and packaging.
Following that, they worked at Grote Industries as a Mechanical Engineer, focusing on designing heavy truck lighting.
Kevin then moved on to Hitachi Cable Indiana, where they served as a Senior Product Manager, responsible for managing internal resources and external suppliers in the design and production of hybrid electric vehicle cables.
Kevin later joined Hitachi Cable Automotive Products USA as a Sales Account Manager, working with clients such as Harley Davidson and General Motors in the automotive brake hose and electrical cable markets.
Kevin then worked at ECCO Safety Group as the OE Sales Manager Off Highway - Americas, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations and build relationships with top construction and agricultural OEMs.
Currently, Kevin is with Vehicle Service Group (VSG), a Dover Company, where they have held two roles. Their first role was as a Major Accounts Manager - Americas, focusing on chassis service for HD Truck & Trailer, Off Highway Agriculture & Construction, and ATV/UTV markets. Their current role is as the Director of Strategic Accounts & Segments, overseeing VSG's "Serve the Shop" product offerings and providing comprehensive equipment solutions to the automotive repair industry.
Throughout their career, Kevin has demonstrated a strong expertise in sales, account management, and engineering within the automotive industry.
Kevin Williams attended Ball State University from 1988 to 1990, where they studied Architecture. Following this, they enrolled at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis from 1992 to 1995, majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
