Emily Gehrke has been working in the automotive industry since 2012. In that time, they have held several positions with various companies. From 2012 to 2013, they were the Vice President of Sales at DTS, Inc., where they worked directly with carriers and customers in freight shipment, answered phone calls, booked loads, gave out quotes, handled accounts payable/receivable, and managed payroll. From 2013 to 2014, they were the Finance Manager at Ron Westphal Chevrolet, where they protected the dealership financially by working directly with financial lenders to offer fair interest rates to buyers and providing thorough explanations of aftermarket products and extended warranties available to them. From 2014 to 2019, they were the BDC/Internet Sales Manager at Bob Jass Chevrolet. Most recently, they have been the Training & Development Manager and Performance Manager for Vehicle Acquisition Network since 2019. In this role, they assist dealerships in acquiring pre-owned inventory from private party sellers and trains on best practices, benchmarks, and processes to enhance pre-owned operations through the utilization of the VAN software system.
Emily Gehrke's education history began with their earning their High School Diploma from Kaneland Senior High School in Maple Park, IL in 2011. Emily then attended Elgin Community College from 2011 to 2014, studying Business Administration and Management, General. Following this, they attended Waubonsee Community College from 2014 to 2017, where they earned an Associate of Science in Business Administration and Management, General. Finally, they attended Northern Illinois University from 2017 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing.
