Zohar Etzioni is a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher at the Ludwig Cancer Research, University of Oxford, focused on integrating somatic mutation and methylation data from cell-free DNA for enhanced cancer diagnosis and monitoring. Concurrently, Zohar is building a web3 native derivative layer with Vega Protocol. Previous roles include Project Supervisor for Software Engineering Masters Students at the University of Oxford, and Algo Trading Consultant at Morgan Stanley, among other positions. Zohar co-founded PDX Technology, where a novel credit enhancement for peer-to-peer lending was developed, and served as Vice President of Algorithmic Trading at Citi. With extensive experience in technical leadership from Cisco Systems and Sheer Networks, Zohar’s educational background includes a PhD in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin and an MA in Philosophy from Tel Aviv University.
