Rafath Ahmed is an experienced food safety professional, currently serving as Sr. Manager of Food Safety at WellMore Holdings and previously at Vega, where responsibilities included overseeing food safety processes from raw ingredients to finished products and developing a robust food safety program. Prior experience includes a role as Scientific Specialist in Food Microbiology at Maxxam Analytics, where tasks involved staff training, method validation, and audit participation, as well as a research position at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada focusing on food microbiology and laboratory management. Rafath Ahmed holds a Master of Science in Food Safety and Quality Assurance and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science from the University of Guelph.
