Marlena Keisler is a Principal Research Associate at Vedanta Biosciences, Inc., where responsibilities include molecular microbiology and analytical development since November 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Research Associate at Day Zero Diagnostics, Inc., focusing on assay optimization for sequencing-based diagnostic assays, as well as serving on the molecular assay development team in various capacities. Early career experiences encompass supporting research on genetic diseases at the Center for the Evaluation of Value and Risk in Health, an internship at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center, promoting Hi-Chew candy products, and conducting a systematic review at Tufts Medical Center. Marlena holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, earned in 2019.
