Rafal Korepta has over 9 years of work experience in software engineering. In 2021, they began working as a Software Engineer at Redpanda Data. From 2019 to 2021, they were a DevOps Engineer at Atena Usługi Informatyczne i Finansowe S.A. where they designed a new CI/CD pipeline for an on-premise OpenShift environment, evaluated performance of existing services in AWS, and created observability tools for Kafka. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Golang and Java Software Engineer at F5 Networks where they built an analytic platform for a new cloud-native product and worked in a Scale Agile project with 15 global teams. From 2015 to 2016, they were an Android consultant at Sigma Connectivity Sp. z o.o. (Design House Warsaw) where they wrote a new kernel driver for D/A amplifier in Android kernel, configured the kernel phone chipset, created the main Camera application, and profiled power consumption. From 2012 to 2015, they were a Junior Software Engineer at Samsung.

Rafal Korepta received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Warsaw University of Technology between 2010 and 2015. In 2019, they obtained four certifications from The Linux Foundation: LFD259: Kubernetes for Developers, LFS258: Kubernetes Fundamentals, CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator, and CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer.
