Carol Shin

Director Of Customer Service at Vector Security

Carol Shin has extensive experience in customer service and support roles. Carol is currently the Director of Customer Service at Vector Security, a position they have held since September 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Customer Success and Support at Booksy from January 2022 to June 2022. From June 2018 to May 2021, Carol worked at Rosetta Stone, where they held various roles, including Co-Chair of the DE&I Committee and Global Senior Director of Customer Success and Support. At Rosetta Stone, Carol focused on optimizing client services, ensuring global support operations were efficient, cost-effective, and yielded positive customer experiences.

Before joining Rosetta Stone, Carol worked at CEB, now Gartner, from December 2012 to June 2018. Carol held positions as a Senior Consultant and Consultant in Customer Care Talent Solutions, as well as a Consultant in Customer Care Research.

Carol's earlier career also includes research roles at Yale University and the Yale School of Management, where they focused on psychology and marketing research. Carol also gained experience in marketing as a summer associate at the Unirule Institute and as a Financial Analyst at Danielson Capital, LLC. Carol began their career at J.Crew, where they worked as an Analyst/Sales from January 2003 to December 2006.

Carol Shin earned their MBA degree from Yale School of Management in 2010, with a focus on Business. Carol also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Psychology from George Mason University, which they obtained between 2000 and 2005. In addition, they participated in a study abroad program in the Czech Republic through Georgetown University. Carol has obtained a certification in Fostering Inclusion and Diversity from Yale School of Management in the year 2020.
