Raeid Saqur is a seasoned academic and industry professional with extensive experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and mobile application development. Currently serving as a Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, University of Toronto, Raeid teaches Natural Language Computing and has held significant roles at the Vector Institute as a Machine Learning & AI Researcher. As the Founder and CEO of Finatechal, a Toronto-based fintech research company, Raeid focused on empowering retail investors through proprietary predictive analytics. Previous roles include Lecturer and Mentor at Lighthouse Labs, AI Research Intern at Creative Destruction Lab, and Workshop Lecturer at Quantopian, among others. Raeid holds multiple advanced degrees, including a PhD in AI and Machine Learning from Princeton and the University of Toronto, as well as an MBA focused on Risk Management and Financial Engineering.
