Hamid K. is a Machine Learning Researcher with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and algorithm design. Currently, Hamid is engaged with Layer 6 AI, TD Securities, and the Vector Institute, focusing on explainability, uncertainty in AI models, and causal discovery techniques. Prior roles include significant contributions as a Machine Learning Scientist at FANAP, where Hamid developed deep learning methods for dental image restoration, and as a Research Intern at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics, contributing to optimization algorithms. Hamid has also held multiple teaching assistant positions at the University of Toronto and Sharif University of Technology, providing instruction in various computer science disciplines. Hamid holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
