John Bolich has worked in the engineering field since 2002. John began their career as an Electronics Technician at Alpha Scientific Electronics, where they tested, debugged, calibrated, upgraded, and documented high current industrial power supplies. John then moved to Berkeley Process Control in 2003 as an Associate Electrical Engineer, playing central roles in all phases of hardware development including proof-of-concept prototyping, design verification, and performance characterization. In 2008, John joined Agilent Technologies as a Product Engineer, leading the testing and identifying and implementing board and system level electrical design modifications required for EMC and safety regulations. In 2009, they became an Electrical Engineer at Ekso Bionics, designing signal interface circuit boards for use in bionic exoskeletons. John then moved to Tecan Systems in 2012 as a Test Engineer, developing, writing, and executing test protocols for the manufacture of automated liquid handling equipment to ISO13485 standards. In 2014, John joined Curtis Instruments as a Test Engineer, designing, fabricating, and supporting automated production test equipment for an industry leader in electric motor controls. John then moved to Labcyte Inc. in 2017 as a System Test Engineer, Contractor. In 2018, John joined PROCEPT BioRobotics as a Senior Hardware Test Engineer, responsible for test method and fixture design for robotic surgical equipment. Finally, in 2022, they joined Vector Atomic as a Senior Hardware Test Engineer.
John Bolich has attended four educational institutions: San Francisco State University, San Jose State University, Chabot College, and the University of California, Berkeley. John studied Electronics Technology at Chabot College and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature from the University of California, Berkeley.
