Lars Knol is a seasoned educational professional with extensive experience in various roles within the education sector. As a co-founder of Onderwijs op Afstand since February 2020, Lars has contributed to remote education initiatives. At Vechtdal College, Lars has been serving as Senior Advisor for Education, IT & Organization since August 2013, acting as a liaison between education and ICT across three campuses while overseeing numerous projects related to their integration. Additionally, Lars teaches geography, informatics, and NLT at the upper secondary level and focuses on enhancing educators' skills in differentiating with ICT. Lars also functions as a consultant and trainer at OptiLearn, specializing in educational technology and innovation. As a Microsoft Innovative Educator Fellow and Master Trainer since July 2018, Lars engages in a global network to promote effective technology use in education. Furthermore, as a Flipgrid expert, Lars supports educators in leveraging the platform to enhance learning experiences. Lars holds multiple degrees in education, including a Master of Education in Learning and Innovation and certifications in secondary education.
