Xander Janssen is a physicist and Senior Engineer at VDL Enabling Technologies Group (ETG) since January 2013, specializing in the design and realization of high-tech prototype equipment and machining, effectively serving as a liaison between customers and craftsmen. With a profound understanding of physics and product specifications, Xander ensures that products meet customer demands while being manufacturable with state-of-the-art production equipment. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral researcher position at TU Delft from January 2010 to January 2013, focusing on bio-nanoscience and single molecule techniques related to DNA and RNA properties. Xander's educational background includes a PhD in Magnetic Biosensors for Medical Diagnostics and advanced degrees in related fields from Eindhoven University of Technology.
