Rob Boereboom is an experienced professional in the field of mechatronics, currently serving as Development Manager at VDL Enabling Technologies Group (ETG) since February 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing technical competences and collaborating with suppliers. Boereboom has held various leadership positions at VDL-ETG, including Manager Engineering in Cologne, Group Lead Mechatronics, and Competence Lead Mechanics. As the founder of Masters of Mechatronics, Boereboom provides interim management and technical support for high-tech mechatronic systems. Previous roles include Director of Innovation & Development at DCD Europe and Department Head of Mechatronics at Philips Research MiPlaza. Extensive educational background includes degrees in Mechanics from Fontys University of Applied Sciences and Eindhoven University of Technology, along with various leadership training courses.
