Georges Verpoorten is an experienced project manager with a strong background in product engineering and management across various high-tech companies. Currently serving as Project Manager NPI at VDL Enabling Technologies Group since June 2020, Georges previously held leadership roles at Flanders Make, overseeing projects focused on digital solutions for human-machine collaboration. Prior experience includes integral project management at Philips Lighting, leadership in focus teams for injection molded parts at Philips High Tech Plastics, and production management at Philips ETG. With a foundational education in Mechanical Engineering from Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen, Georges has consistently contributed to the development and implementation of innovative production processes and product designs throughout a diverse career spanning over three decades.
