Reuben Southall Jr. MS, CPHIMS serves as the Director of Ancillary Systems and Director of Business Systems at VCU Health since March 2020, reporting directly to the CIO and overseeing all legacy ERP systems, ancillary business systems, application development, and enterprise integration efforts involving Workday and Epic. Prior to this role, Reuben acted as Associate CIO at VCU Health System from September 2014 to March 2020, where leadership skills enhanced departmental reliability through the establishment of daily IT huddles. Reuben's earlier experience includes managing clinical information systems and serving as IT program manager for EMR at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System, as well as leadership roles within the Virginia HIMSS chapter. Academic credentials include a Masters of Science in Information Systems with a focus on IT Management from Virginia Commonwealth University.
